Strawman for Z Guide

Simon had sent out a Strawman for a Z Guide, mainly using work done previously. This was discussed. General feeling was that:

Some sections were suitable, but others were too detailed.

• The less detailed parts were general information.
• The detailed parts were looking at methods
• The material in some areas covered 'What and Why' and other areas were covering How.

what the level and content should be will be somewhat determined by who the customer for this work is going to be.Z guides for new-comers, Omega Guides for more advanced and Don't Panic booklets for people who want to get clear guidance. .

Attending ASEC2011.

The content of ASEC was reviewed with a view to attending . Generally it was found that two talks were of interest but did not provide enough new material to justify the cost in terms of time sand money. Unless someone else wants to go, the requested Poster, Spare meeting sessions and Group Leaders forum will not be attended.
